Loan Processor
Responsible for processing loan applications in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner in accordance with rules and regulations. Takes on the role as liaison in the collection of supporting loan documentation, distribution of regulatory disclosures, documentation, and other related duties.
Wholesale Account Manager
Wholesale Account Managers, or Wholesale Loan Processors are responsible for locating, signing-up, training, and soliciting mortgage loans from mortgage brokers, mortgage bankers, banks, and credit unions.
Senior Underwriter
Underwrite and review submitted files and ensure that loan requests meet agency specifications.Communicate decision (approval, suspense, denial) to appropriate individuals, and uphold fair lending practices.
Junior Underwriter
Reviews and approves loan conditions ranging from simple to complex, and progresses loan file from initial approval stage to ready for docs stage.
Wholesale Underwriter
Evaluates and analyzes residential loan packages submitted for approval to the agency. Determines borrowers’ credit worthiness and acceptability of properties offered as security in real estate loan transactions.
Direct Endorsed Underwriter
Analyzes and assures residential mortgage loans comply with bank, FHA/VA, and secondary market standards. They have the authority to underwrite loans on behalf of the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, HUD.
VA Underwriter
VA Underwriters handle files in accordance with investor and company guidelines, specifically VA loans.
Funder
Responsible for auditing the credit file for accuracy and reviewing signed loan docs, confirming all documents were filed correctly. Responsible for calculating and requesting wires.
Closer
Reviews the final HUD-1 for accuracy and verifies customer signatures on all final closing documents prior to funding. Follows up with closing agents for the prompt return of original closing documents.
